Atsuko Maeda is a member of the Japanese idol group AKB48. She was born on 10 July 1991 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She is in Team A and is one of the most prominent members of the group, appearing as lead singer in all of the singles to date. She is part of the 'Senbatsu' group in the most recent singles.
